7. Important Marketing Techniques
The Operator uses statistical analysis of site traffic via Google Analytics (Google Inc. based in the USA). The Operator does not transfer personal data to this service operator, only anonymized information. The service uses cookies on the user’s end device. Regarding user preferences collected by the Google advertising network, the user can view and edit information derived from cookies using the tool: https://www.google.com/ads/preferences/
The Operator uses remarketing techniques to tailor advertising messages to the user’s behavior on the site, which may create the illusion that personal data is being used to track the user. However, in practice, no personal data is transferred from the Operator to advertising operators. The technological condition for such actions is that cookies are enabled.
The Operator uses the Facebook pixel. This technology means that Facebook (Facebook Inc. based in the USA) knows that a registered person is using the Service. In this case, it relies on its own data as the controller. The Operator does not transmit any additional personal data to Facebook. The service is based on the use of cookies on the user’s end device.
The Operator uses a solution for analyzing user behavior by creating heat maps and recording behavior on the website. These data are anonymized before being sent to the service provider, so they do not know which individual person they concern. In particular, entered passwords and other personal data are not recorded.
The Operator uses a solution that automates the functioning of the Service in relation to users, e.g., it may send an email to a user who visited a specific subpage, provided the user consented to receive commercial communication from the Operator.
8. Information About Cookies
The Service uses cookies.
Cookies are IT data, in particular text files, stored on the end device of the Service User and intended for use with the website. Cookies usually contain the name of the website they come from, their storage time on the end device, and a unique number.
The entity placing cookies on the end device of the Service User and accessing them is the Operator of the Service.
Cookies are used for the following purposes:
- Maintaining the Service User’s session (after logging in), thanks to which the user does not have to re-enter login and password on each subpage
- Implementing purposes specified above in the section “Important Marketing Techniques”
Two basic types of cookies are used in the Service: “session” cookies and “persistent” cookies. “Session” cookies are temporary files stored on the User’s end device until logout, leaving the website, or turning off the software (web browser). “Persistent” cookies are stored on the User’s end device for the time specified in the cookie parameters or until deleted by the User.
Web browsing software (web browser) usually allows cookies to be stored on the User’s device by default. Service Users may change settings in this regard. The web browser allows deleting cookies. It is also possible to automatically block cookies. Detailed information on this can be found in the help section or documentation of the web browser.
Limiting the use of cookies may affect some functionalities available on the Service’s website.
Cookies placed on the User’s end device may also be used by entities cooperating with the Operator, in particular companies such as Google (Google Inc. based in the USA), Facebook (Facebook Inc. based in the USA), Twitter (Twitter Inc. based in the USA).
